And even though we're not filling out college applications yet, he's really excelling in his finger painting and the way he sits for snacks. He's just brilliant :)
It wasn't an easy start last August because Wade wasn't too excited about being left in a room with a bunch of strangers. But those strangers became his friends, playmates and sweet teachers. And along the way, he learned so many new skills and found some independence.

Wade's teachers, Miss Angela and Miss Beth, were so patient and loving with Wade and we can't thank them enough. They went out of their way to make him happy and comfortable throughout the year.
Wade will be leaving Miss Angela and Miss Beth next year for a very special teacher in the 2 year old class...Miss Kay Marshall (as in my friend Kim's mom!). I know she will be able to handle whatever tantrum he throws her way. After all, she did manage to look after me growing up through weekly slumber parties, cheerleading adventures, TP rolling excursions (whoops! did I type that?), and horrible hair dying episodes. She has my complete confidence :)

Wade looks like a little baby when he first went to school last fall, but boy has he grown!!! So glad he ended up enjoying school. It is amazing how much patience and love preschool teachers have for our kids and how fun that Mrs. Marshall will be Wade's teacher in the fall
