MARCH Happenings

A little more March fun...
Wade rockin' it out at Sam's carnival birthday party!

Miss Priss in her favorite purple dress. I have to hide or she will seriously not wear anything else!!

I love this picture and their matching silouettes and cowlicks!!

Wade introducing his bear "Rock Band" to his unnamed Beta fish...

Doing an archeological dig for rocks...

Wade trying out some tennis lessons. He definitely a beginner, but enjoyed it!

And my explanation for this picture? None. That's just Bree.

Easter Celebrations

I love Easter. I love the promise of Spring, sunshine and most importantly the celebration of Jesus's resurrection. The hope of a new beginning and the promise of salvation...it just doesn't get any better. I love our celebrations with family and friends and all the traditions we've started as a family.

Easter came early this year and for some reason I just wasn't ready. It was cold, rainy, and the kids must've really resisted my cute outfits because they looked like ragamuffins the whole weekend :) Or maybe I was just lazy this year and didn't force them into what I wanted them to wear!! Ha!

MOPS Easter Egg Hunt @ McFarlane Park
(it was cold and damp, so Bree stayed in her pjs!)

Mt. Bethel Egg Hunt

Wade wanted to dress in all red, so we let him!

Easter morning our sunrise service got rained out on the fields, so we moved inside.

Complete with blankets, pj's, and rain boots!

It was different but GREAT morning of worship for just us 4!

This is how Bree eats peeps! Just rips the heads off and keeps on going...

Easter afternoon, we had all of our family to our house.

What a treat for Wade & Bree to have ALL of their cousins together for the holiday.
Starting Top Left: Ellis, Cae, Wyatt, Rowan, Caleb, Wade, Colt, Lauren, Bree.

The Reuter Boys

The egg hunt in our small front yard. The backyard was a soggy mess with all the rain!

Egg hunting is a spectator's sport!

Bree was all about egg hunting this year!

Baskets full!!!

Ellis sweetly sharing some of her eggs with Bree

Both our dads are April Fool's babies (how random is that???) so we celebrated a day early with 2 cakes. Dede got a little excited in her singing and accidentally blew out Enzo's candles

Happy Birthday Poppa and Enzo!!

Happy Birthday WADE!

Wade wanted a Mr. Greg's Reptile Roadshow party for his 5th birthday (that's G.G. to us!). He really wanted only 5 year old boys in attendance, but we convinced him to at least add his sister and girl cousins to the list. He was okay with that :)

G.G. has the coolest collection of animals for his presentations. Of course birthday parties are a big hit, but he's also popular for camps and school groups.  Wade was able to pick out exactly which animals he wanted at his party. He took the process very seriously and wrote out the list in perfect cursive so G.G. would know what to bring.

The birthday boy got to be the assistant and handle all of the animals.
And show them off to his friends...

Getting slapped in the face with the alligator's tail...

Bree (and Andrew) played it safe on the couch, but G.G. made sure she touched the alligator.

When it was time to bring out the tortoise, Wade wanted to introduce his stuffed tortoise too.

Love the face!!!

The whole crew with the Burmese Python...

Yes, I held the python too!

Wade wanted each kid to have a seat and made place cards for everyone.

Miss Sarah made his wonderful cake. How cool is that???

Then we did an alligator pinata! I can safely say this was our first and last pinata. They are just way too dangerous and stressful. I hope Wade enjoyed it!

Here's the mad dash for candy!

Bree & Dede with their face tattoos
Wade got a Beta fish from Aunt Karen and Uncle Alan!

Our birthday boy!

A fun day for everyone!!
