Pre-Pre-Preparing for the BIG BOY BED!

As we go through the long process of moving Wade into a big boy room, we've been trying to keep him involved and aware of the fact that this will be his new room. I don't want to force him into a big bed, so luckily we're going to borrow a crib from friends. That way he can decide when he's ready! No rush!

However....we went ahead and bought him HIS bed that he helped daddy put together. With all the construction going on in the basement, he's gotten really good at "helping" daddy. He likes to hold screws (usually in his mouth just like Beau), dump out the box, and load them back in. But his other favorite "tasks" are messing with the drill and climbing ladders. Sound safe? It's not at all. Handing daddy the screws he needs...

We have a LONG way to go, but atleast Wade got to share in the building of his new bed! Now, if we could just make him understand beds are for sleeping....not jumping.
