Our annual Benich Family vacation to Lake Oconee was a blast! The weather was gorgeous, the kids are old enough to have fun with less handholding, and who doesn't like being served champagne mojitos poolside???
It was perfectly hot enough that even Dede enjoyed the water with us!
My view for 3 days. This is one thing I will miss if we forego the lake resort for our lake house. It is nice to sit, relax, be served, and not have to do any of the clean-up!

We did leave the pool for this picnic dinner. It's just so much easier to eat casually than to try to wrangle all the kids at a dining table!
There was a lot of photo bombing going on this trip. It was like a new skill the kids were trying to perfect.
