We joined a group of friends for some tree top fun at Lake Lanier's Canopy Tours. Mandy Crawford came up with the idea and I was instantly excited....so were most of the girls. But for some reason MOST of our hubbies are deathly afraid of heights. How did that happen? It's not like we all married wimpy guys that don't like adventure, but for some reason they all have the same fear. Weird huh?
Well, I was able to convince Beau to do it anyway (and most of the other hubbies mustered up some courage too). And somewhere along the way, I think they actually enjoyed it!
It took a lot of gear, but finally we were ready to hang from trees.
They slowly work you up to long ziplines over the water. It was SO fun!
Then you have to walk your way back up the trees on these sky bridges.

And here's our entire group (plus two guides). It was hot and sweaty with close quarters on small tree platforms, but I loved it!
