We met some of Wade's school friends for a great day at The Art Barn in Canton. What a fun place!
The kids groom the farm animals, do an art project, go on a tractor ride, and then picnic....
We dressed up as Spiderman (and often wore this costume to bed...)
We tried to stay organized. My awesome neighbor and friend, Michelle, does home organizing and is the greatest motivation to CLEAN OUT! She came over and we did and overhaul on the kids' toys. I had to hide all the outgoing bag from Wade or he would've undid all our hard work. We found a "place" for everything and it felt so good to be organized.
Then I turned my head for a minute and the toys ended up like this again...
We had wonderful out-of-town friends over for dinner. Will and Laura Ringo live in Spartanburg, SC and came home for a visit. So we had the Nobles and Crims over too for a fun night grillin' and playing with the kiddos. We've since found out Laura and Will are expecting their first child in January....YAY!!!
Milla and Bree were 2 peas in a pod and so much fun making faces with Aunt B!
We played at the pool with our friends! And always ended with popsicles :)
We played on the little potty....trying to see if we are ready for a real attempt at potty training. She can make herself toot (and thinks that's hilarious) but that's about it.
We visited our favorite breakfast spot...with our friend Finn
We tried a summer gymnastics class at Champion Kids. The kids loved it!!!
We "helped" Lyall mow the lawn....
We celebrated Alicia's birthday...with Mexican food, margaritas, and bear hugs
We escaped for a weekend to The Grove Park Inn in Asheville...
We only left the resort once for an evening in town and then a stop at Tupelo Honey Cafe on our way out of town!
It was so nice to only be responsible for ourselves and enjoy some quality adult time with this great group.
We met a new friend and future playmatel, Campbell Rogers Stuntz. His mommy, Erin, is a great friend from my Make-A-Wish days. Congrats to the Stuntz family on this precious angel :)
