Wade my little cuddle bug (with 2 lovies, turtle, and big turtle)I've noticed over the past few weeks that Wade is really growing attached to anything soft, cuddly, and loveable. He used to just need a "lovie" to hold as he fell asleep. Then we added a pillow. You would think he'd sleep with his head on the pillow. No, that would be too easy. Instead he has to get the pillow on top of him to be able to fall asleep. Then he needed the sea turtle we brought back from St. Thomas. That too had to be piled on top of him. And now one lovie is not enough....3 or 4 different lovie blankets go to bed with him every night (thankfully we have extras!). And now he insists on bringing an assortment of these animals downstairs with him to watch his morning installment of Jack's Big Music Show. It seems a little overboard, but it's actually the cutest thing I've ever seen. He gets all of these animals up on the couch, then squeezes between them, and then settles in to watch Jack (this is after handing me the remote and saying "Jack").
These pictures were from a particularly raining morning when he just wanted to snuggle in and relax. He sat like this for at least 20 minutes (which in toddler time is more like 20 hours). The big turtle kept falling off the couch and he'd say "Maaaaama" until I came over and put him right back where he belonged.

So sweet! Wes sleeps (and watches TV, plays, rides in the car, etc) with two blankets, a "bambi", lambi, Uga, big elephant, little elephant, teddy bear, and curious george. There is barely room left in the twin bed! :)
