For Spring Break we headed to Charleston to visit with family and friends! A week is never long enough to soak in the Lowcountry and all that I love about it, but I will take what I can get!!!

We ventured out to Sky Zone one afternoon. It had just opened in Charleston, so we had to break it in!

Wade in his cool kid gear. His spring allergies hit hard this week. Everything must bloom just a little bit sooner than in Atlanta, because as soon as we rolled into town he started reacting. The glasses and hat help to keep the pollen out of his eyes. Poor guy!
We stayed with Nicci, Rowan & Ellis in Mt. Pleasant. So while everyone else was in school and at work, we explored and kept ourselves entertained. Scooter rides down to the Old Village for breakfast, Boat taxis in the harbor, trips to the Aquarium and even saw a crew setting up to film an episode of Homeland (on Showtime)! The perfect mix of lazy adventure with Wade & Bree!
We also got to see Rowan play baseball & Ellis play soccer!
When Beau arrived for the Bridge Run weekend, we ventured out to the USS Yorktown Museum.
The kids begged for a helicopter ride. Beau couldn't say no BUT is deathly afraid of heights and personal aircraft, so guess who got to go on 2 separate helicopter rides....THIS GIRL! It was fun and the kids were fearless.
