OCTOBER in a nutshell

October is one of my favorite months of the year. The weather is awesome and there are some many fun and festive things to do. This year, it was filled with heartache and turmoil in our family with the loss of Trevor. Wade and Bree still wanted to be (and deserved to be!) a part of the Fall FUN...so we did our best to rally.

A family photo at the MOPS Family Picnic...

Dance party before bed...

 A little Scooby Doo time...

Playing at the park...

Pony rides at Mt. Bethel Fall Festival...

Celebating Cae's 7th birthday at Cheeky's...

Picking out a pumpkin and running the maze...

Park time with Lauren...

A beautiful day at The Art Barn. Animals, art projects, hayride, and picnic!

Bree loves to love on her babies. She reads to them, wraps them up tight, and then drops them on their head...

HALLOWEEK

LOTS OF HALLOWEEN FUN!!!

Bree's school class had a Halloween costume party. She's the smiley elephant in the bottom left...

Ms. Kay leading the Blessing song. Bree loves to do prayer hands...

Lots of Halloween treats...

And a dance party to work off the treats...

A little game of pass the pumpkin...

My little skeletons getting ready for bed on Halloween Eve...

And here's what Daddy wore to work on Halloween...

We met up with the Crawfords in their fun neighborhood for Trick-or-Treating. I thought Bree was going to be a bust when she refused to get out of the wagon. But Celie persuaded her to join the fun!

The boys took off running and I saw very little of Wade for the rest of the night (Daddy was chasing him)...

A little back story on Wade's costume...he has trouble committing to a costume for the many Halloween events and we're lucky enough to have many hand-me-downs for him to choose from. So over the course of the week, he was a regular Spiderman, a black/silver Spiderman, a homemade ghost, and 5 minutes before we left he decided he wanted to be a Ninja. A barefoot Ninja to be exact. I had no energy or patience to fight any of it.

 How sweet are these girls?

And how scary are these Ninja boys?

When all the boys went ahead, Buie stayed back to escort Celie and Bree. Look at Bree the little peeping tom....
